Dear Disciple,
Genesis 31 & 32 record Jacob’s flight from his uncle Laban and his fretful return to his brother Esau. Jacob wrestles an angel to a draw and is blessed. In Matthew 9: 18-39, Jesus touches people and they are healed.
What is God’s Word saying to me?
It seems better to receive the touch of God when we’re reaching out to him rather than wrestling with him.
What am I going to do about it?
Live in a posture of seeking God rather than questioning him.
